Great work Gents! Motivating.

Maybe go for the TWR/APP/CTR trifecta? Or is that a bridge too far? Would love to keep the momentum going!

A triple crown is difficult, and we'd need a lot of people to step up to the plate.

Just gonna put it out there that I also helped, probably the least out of anyone who did, but Ryan monitored me for 2 hours and 2 minutes during the week on top of controlling for over 15 hours.

Remember that an iron mic is not an end goal. We should always be trying to get into the top 10 and top 20 lists for as many positions as we can, even when we're not doing iron mic runs. An iron mic means people will notice us, but we need to keep it up at all levels.

Ryan, how could you have put up the wrong banner. The one you posted was an error. Steve Cullen posted the right one last night.

Congrats guys!

Oh, I should also mention that the initial post did not actually mention my contributions, nor those of several other people who put in hours on center or in general this week. I just wanted to point out that iron mics are an ARTCC accomplishment. No one in this ARTCC should feel that they did not help us do this just because they did not put in hours on center. Every time someone gets on tower, ground, or approach, it eases up the burden on center controllers, which in turn can mean a center controller can stay on longer before burning out. I don't even understand why I have to mention that I contributed, when the original post shouldn't have singled out specific people as if this weren't an ARTCC-wide award.

The real issue here isn't whether I was mentioned, but why we're naming specific people who contributed, when the whole ARTCC won the iron mic.
